Warren Buffett announced he will step down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway at the end of 2025, naming Greg Abel as his handpicked successor, according to The Wall Street Journal.  Speaking during the closing minutes of Berkshire’s annual meeting in Omaha,  the 94-year-old investor announced his intention for Greg Abel to take over as CEO at the end of the year. Buffett took control of Berkshire in 1965 and transformed it into a sprawling conglomerate.
