This surpasses Amazon’s Project Kuiper, which received 26 million dollars for 37% of sites. Montana favored satellite over fiber for 65% of locations, reflecting regional trends. SpaceX is also exploring in-flight satellite internet with Middle Eastern airlines and developing laser tech capable of transmitting massive data over long distances.
