Kraft Heinz has announced plans to eliminate all FD&C artificial dyes from its U.S. products by the end of 2027 and will stop launching new items containing these dyes. Currently, about 10% of their U.S. products use synthetic food dyes, including brands like Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, MiO, Jell-O, and Jet-Puffed. This move follows pressure from health authorities to reduce artificial additives, continuing their trend of removing artificial colors from products like Kraft macaroni and cheese and Heinz ketchup.
