Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to cut 10,000 full-time jobs across the department, according to CNBC. The cuts are on top of the 10,000 voluntary departures since Trump took office and will reduce HHS’s workforce by 25%. The department will also consolidate divisions, eliminate five regional offices, and centralize key functions. Kennedy says the overhaul will save nearly $2 billion annually and focus on reversing chronic disease.
