Amazon has submitted a bid to the White House to acquire TikTok from its Chinese parent company, ByteDance, according to CNBC. The bid was sent in a letter to Vice President JD Vance and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, just days before a U.S. deadline that could lead to a ban on the app. TikTok's growing e-commerce marketplace and massive U.S. user base have attracted interest from companies, including AppLovin, which has also submitted a bid.
