In the 1932 film, The Most Dangerous Game, Joel McCrea stars as Bob Rainsford, a celebrated hunter who finds himself stranded on a mysterious island after his ship is destroyed in a storm. He makes his way to the island's seemingly deserted chateau, where he meets the eccentric Count Zaroff, played by Leslie Banks, and his servant, Ivan, played by Noble Johnson. Zaroff, a bored and wealthy aristocrat, welcomes Rainsford and invites him to stay at the chateau.
